“If you have a soft spot for animals of all sizes then Australia Zoo is simply a must when in Queensland. Carrying on the amazing work of Australian Icon Steve Irwin, Australia Zoo is the home to many animals and the best part is you can be a part of it too. I need to go back and spend an entire day there to fully grasp all the zoo has to offer. Our tiger encounter was definitely an amazing once in a lifetime experience that I would recommend to others, especially given the rate at which tigers are becoming endangered. Australia Zoo allows you to sit beside and touch a real live, breathing tiger. This is something words cannot describe…it was purely magical being this close to such a big jungle giant and it’s something I will get to tell my kids about when I get older.”
“My trip to the Australia zoo was great.The new Africa part of the zoo is amazing.. The Africa area is a fun short ride away from the main zoo in an open air zebra shuttle. We got dropped off at "AFRICA" An amazing large area full of animals from Africa after a 200mtr walk to the end your met by some men from africa playing the drums,plenty of spare drums for anyone to join in,, and at 1.30pm they have a music workshop.
I believe in months to come they will also have a cheetah running track..etc ”
